What is BI4E for me?
INGENIUM Alliance is based on the diversity of education and research, through people with various skills and culture. BI4E project is feeding into our growth of the international collaboration both at the institutional and community level. Research and Innovation initiatives among partners will be nurtured by well-defined strategic planning, dedicated trainings and seminars, with the support of our regional stakeholders.
What would I say to my 18-year-old self who is now starting university?
Engineering creates more impact than you can possibly imagine now. Your curiosity has the power to design changes. For you. And others. In the entire world. Your colleagues are unknown yet. A ticket in blank to use for reaching MORE.

I’d tell myself to take every opportunity offered by the university like its internationalization policy, language courses and associative life as it is one of the best part of a lifetime. Every activity proposed by universities are beneficial for student’s future!

What is BI4E for me?
The project BI4E is an incredible opportunity for me to contribute to the institution I work for, the MUS, to synchronize its overall management policy in line with the very ambitious objectives and principles of the Sustainable Development Goals and the European Green Deal. I believe that through the green and digital transition, my Department of International Integration and Project Funding will be able to promote wellbeing and prosperity in a healthy environment for our entire academic community.
What would I say to my 18-year-old self who is now starting university?
If I were 18 years old now, I would like someone through some dissemination initiative to explain and raise my awareness of research careers as more attractive, pointing out that existing limitations for women and young researchers could be removed. I would need to learn much more about the European best practices and research career development.

What is BI4E for me?
BI4E offers networking opportunities with experts and researchers from 8 countries. This enables knowledge exchange, access to new ideas, and partnerships for joint projects, which can enhance the quality and impact of your research. Participating in BI4E also opens doors to international visibility and recognition for my work. This exposure can lead to increased credibility within the scientific community and potential collaboration offers from renowned institutions.
What would I say to my 18-year-old self who is now starting university?
University is a time to explore and try new things. Don’t be afraid to step out of your comfort zone, meet people from different backgrounds. You may face challenges and setbacks but remember that it’s okay to make mistakes. Learn from them and use them as opportunities for growth. Eat well, exercise regularly, and seek help if you’re feeling overwhelmed. Enjoy this exciting phase of your life, and remember that you have the potential to achieve great things. Best of luck, and believe in yourself!

Don’t be scared and use all of the opportunities offered to you at your university! Go abroad as much as possible, do more internships, follow your interests by taking courses outside of your major, even if means you might study an extra semester 😊!

What is BI4E for me?
BI4E is a vision of how higher education can be transformed by working together with other INGENIUM universities. I see BI4E as an opportunity to enhance the quality and impact of our research and innovation activities. By sharing our experiences and challenges with our partners, we can learn from each other and find new solutions to the common problems we face.
What would I say to my 18-year-old self who is now starting university?
University is a journey of discovery and exploration. You will encounter many different ideas, people and cultures that will enrich your mind and broaden your horizons. As a physics professor, I know how important it is to be curious and ask questions, but also to be humble and listen to others. Don’t be afraid to challenge yourself and try new things.

What is BI4E for me?
I believe that BI4E will bring us closer to Europe. More specifically, the BI4E-project will create new contact networks among our staff and support the development of our organisations in many areas. This will make us stronger, both as individuals, as HEIs and as an alliance.
